Georgia on My Mind è una canzone scritta nel 1930 da Stuart Gorrell (testo) e Hoagy Carmichael (musica). È la canzone ufficiale dello Stato della Georgia, negli Stati Uniti. Gorrell scrisse il testo per la sorella di Hoagy, Georgia Carmichael. Tuttavia il testo della canzone, essendo sufficientemente ambiguo, poteva essere adattato tanto ad una regione, quanto ad una donna di nome Georgia.
La canzone è diventata universalmente popolare nella cover registrata nel 1960 da Ray Charles, che la incise nell’album The Genius Hits the Road. Il singolo raggiunse la prima posizione della U.S. Billboard Hot 100 nel novembre 1960.
